Racing Mini Bike Revival & Rip! Plus We Built a .62 Mile MEGATRACK!

We bring back our original racing mini bike- a modified Trailmaster MB-200 with a built 196cc engine- for some upgrades and time trial racing! Since I bought a tractor, we've built new mini bike race tracks. Today, we install a new fuel tank onto the Trailmaster mini bike for way better fuel range, we install a Juggernaut driver (which we later remove because it was rubbing and making noise against the torque converter cover), and we install a new torque converter belt. Then, we assemble the mega track! .62 miles of racetrack, right in my back yard.

Did John wear the helmet for the rest of the day after his little spill. After watching that episode with my grand kids I instituted the same rule. You’ll never guess who wore the helmet first. Yep! I always had problems keeping the chain on my mini bikes, and they literally always fly off at the exact wrong time, like when the cops are chasing you into a woods where you will magically dissapear (still got away every time). Go-kart not so much. I finally caved in and started using a chain guide on the bottom chain. Pulled out of the garbage, redesigned to be more out of the way and not touch the chain much during normal running. Hated to do it, but the results have been very good. Keeping it from getting bent is the issue.

Glad to see this bike getting some love again! It's what first brought me to CarsandCameras and got me to buy an MB-200-2 of my own. Mine is mostly stock aside from taller rear shocks and a 60 tooth sprocket. I'd love to see a vid on the bushing replacement because I'm having the same chain-throwing problem on rough inclines and it would be good to know if that's the fix!

Combining all the tracks will make a highly technical course which will challenge both the rider and the machine. For straight up testing of the machine, only compare times with the same rider on the simplest track.

Hey guys, I'm new to the channel, love all your content! I'm also new to mini bikes, recently built one using a vintage Black Jack mini bike frame that was given to me, stuck a 3 HP 79cc Predator on it. I bypassed the governor but I have a question, will the air filter adapter on Go Power Sports website for the Predator 212 fit the 79cc Predator? Wanting to put a high flow air filter on it as the stock air box is very restrictive.
