The Honda ATC70 three wheeler was Honda's smallest three wheeler, in the extensive line up of trikes built in the 1980s (others include the ATC 110, ATC 185, ATC 200, ATC 250, and more). I've been looking for an ATC70 for a while, and an opportunity to buy two finally popped up! I ended up paying $900 for two non-running ATC70s in fair to poor condition. Not a screaming deal, but they're so rare I didn't care!

I started working on my grandparents Honda rotary lawnmower they never use so I am the only grandkid who works on it I can get it running but it runs rough did a tune up my self on it and it ran smoother than a rock I gotta re tune it again because it’s just sitting since the last time I used it has blown up yet smokes like a two stroke wish me luck I’m currently waiting for room in my garage or when I move out to buy a project atv or a Honda 70

They have a fuel & air set screw adjustment on the carb that might help.

Back in the day I had a atc110. Behind my house was a marsh with several salt water creeks running through it. If you could stay balanced you could literally drive (float) it on the water. It was awesome, that is until it rusted in half.

Sounds like the carb needs to be cleaned . If it gets a grain of sand in it will make it run like that. I learned alot about them jn the years i owned mine

If you get up on one knee and it will do a wheelie really easy. They always said they were dangerous because they would flip over. I had both mine over a ten year period and never turned mine over side to side. I have went over the handlebars and been flipped over backwards but never over the side

I rode the 110 for 5 years with no brakes on it. I stopped it by down shifting. The first one they ever made was a 90 i think. Thats the same.motor that was on the trail 90

I had a 110 and. 25) two stroke one and the 110 was more fun than the two stroke one but if you wanted the shit scared out of you then jump on the 250 and it would do 85 mph on the street. I know how fast it was because i got a speeding ticket for 85 in a 55 and almost got it impounded

The reason it has spark when you flick the kill switch is because the points are stuck and you are acting like the points, triggering the coil to spark, by flicking the ignition kill switch on and off. Its of course not in time with the engine and likely wouldnt run. but it proves you have only a simple issue. no coil trigger signal.

BTW I have an old 81 ATC 250r in really good condition and I have the title for it pretty Sweet all it needs is some mixed gas and it will fire right off. Really fun to ride i'm pretty strict about people riding it just because people don't keep they're feet on the foot pegs and don't know how to lean correctly when they're riding it, which can get you HURT! I had a 70cc Honda 3 wheeler when I was a kid and it was really fun. I had another a couple of years ago and it wasn't lol. I made the decision to never get anything with points/condenser again. CDI only for me!
